Focus on your foundation.

 

With social media, it’s easy to get FOMO when you see IG “trainers” and pro athletes doing wild exercises, and rehab “experts” trying to sell you a new technique/tool/machine that promises to deliver instant results.⠀

In reality, rehab really is quite simple. My job is to increase resiliency and advance clients appropriately while minimizing their injury risk. No matter the client’s goal, I always start with building a solid foundation by maximizing mobility, strength, and stability. ⠀

Only then can we safely get creative and train for agility, power, endurance, etc. (Translation: heavy weights, running, jumping). We have to physically prepare you for your goals. This takes time and effort!

I always tell my clients: “Master the boring basics first” - it’ll pay off, I promise. ⠀
