Fundamentals before sport-specificity.

 

No matter the sport, to avoid re-injury and maximize performance, my clients master the following before we proceed to agility and sport-specific exercises:

  • full mobility throughout the kinetic chain

  • core stability

  • max strength across all joints

  • control in all planes and angles

if they can do basics well, then more dynamic drills and field/court/ice work will be a breeze and we won’t have to worry about new or old injuries.
