Frequently asked questions.

Why would I do Physiotherapy at home?

There are a variety of reasons as to why having a Physiotherapist come to your home may be beneficial to you. It is a great option after surgery, when your mobility may be limited. Perhaps you have a new injury and find it too difficult to travel to a clinic. You may prefer the personal setting of your home. Most often, it is the flexibility in scheduling that clients appreciate the most.

What should I do before my first visit?

  • Make a list of questions that you have

  • Be ready 15 minutes early

  • Read and fill out the appropriate forms as indicated

  • Clear space for the treatment bed

  • Clear space of children and pets as best as possible, to avoid distractions

  • Make sure you and your family are healthy

What can I expect in a session at home?

It will be very similar to a session in clinic, with manual treatment followed by an active portion.

I bring a portable treatment bed, as well as rehab supplies and basic exercise equipment like bands, small weights, mat, foam roller, etc.
