Tips for acute back pain.
Are you experiencing back pain for the first time? Or having a flare-up from an old back issue?
No need to panic! Here are the best tips I can give you:
Focus on pain-free movements and positions
Gradually test and re-introduce those that are painful
Movement is medicine - don’t lie around
Imaging does not always indicate what the cause of pain is and often doesn’t change how you proceed
Try to continue your basic day to day activities as best you can
Most cases of back pain will resolve on their own with a bit of time
